Research on Partial Discharge Characteristics of Switchgear Assisted by Digital Twin Technology

To address the issues of delayed response and imprecise positioning associated with traditional partial discharge detection methods in switchgear, this study introduces a multi-dimensional detection technology powered by digital twin technology. By constructing a high-precision twin model integrating electromagnetic thermal mechanical multi physical fields, the dynamic characteristics of partial discharge simulation and multi-source signal collaborative analysis are realized. Experiments show that the positioning error of this method in GIS, AIS and oil immersed switchgear is ≤ 8cm, and the recognition accuracy is 93% -97%, which is more than 20% higher than the traditional method. The reliability under complex working conditions is verified through the virtual and real data closed-loop, which provides a new paradigm for the intelligent operation and maintenance of power equipment.
