Feature Extraction of Security and Stability Events During Fast Cascading Failures Transient Evolution
The strong randomness of high proportion of renewable energy and the weak immunity of power electronic equipment make the fast cascading failure transient evolution process more complicated. This paper establishes a fast cascading failure transient evolution model, extracts and analyses the electrical quantity features of security and stability events such as short-circuit fault, commutation failure, renewable energy low voltage ride-through and renewable energy off-grid, and extracts the electrical quantity correlation relationship based on Pearson correlation coefficient method and Spearman correlation coefficient method. Fast cascading failure scenarios are constructed in a high proportion renewable energy power system simulation case, and the correlation of electrical quantities between different fault events and the influence of electrical distance on the correlation of electrical quantities are analyzed. The analysis results show that voltage is the key factor driving the transient evolution process of fast cascading failures, and the voltage correlation between fault events gradually decreases with the increase of electrical distance.
