Influence of zero-value insulator position and quantity on voltage distribution and electric field distribution of 110kV porcelain insulator strings
Insulators are important insulating elements in the power system, and are the key components to ensure stable and safe operation of the system. Long-term operation of the insulator, due to the destruction of insulation properties to form a deterioration channel, easy to deteriorate to low, zero-value insulators. This article combined with COMSOL finite element simulation software to study the position and number of zero-value insulators on the 110kV porcelain insulator string voltage distribution and electric field distribution. The conclusion of the study shows that: when the zero-value insulators in the string at the beginning and end of the two ends and the vicinity of the voltage distribution trend and the electric field distribution trend of the influence of the trend is greater, the zero-value insulators of the voltage value tends to be close to zero, the electric field strength will be a sudden increase in the value of the voltage of the other insulators and the electric field strength of the normal insulators have different degrees of increase. When the number of zero-value insulators increases to two, the electric field strength at the location of zero-value insulators is more significant, and the voltage value of the neighboring normal insulators increases very significantly.
