Research on Optimal Design of Substation Grounding Grid Based on Layered Soil Model

Regarding the optimization design of substation grounding grids, this paper first establishes a layered soil model. Then, it constructs a multi-indicator system based on soil resistivity, fault current, step voltage, touch voltage, and grounding resistance to evaluate the effectiveness of different grounding grid optimization designs. Finally, six grounding grid design schemes are designed and compared, demonstrating that different grounding solutions have distinct application scenarios and require case-specific analysis.

Abstract

Regarding the optimization design of substation grounding grids, this paper first establishes a layered soil model. Then, it constructs a multi-indicator system based on soil resistivity, fault current, step voltage, touch voltage, and grounding resistance to evaluate the effectiveness of different grounding grid optimization designs. Finally, six grounding grid design schemes are designed and compared, demonstrating that different grounding solutions have distinct application scenarios and require case-specific analysis.
