Simulation Study on Environmental Temperature of Civil Aircraft EE Compartment in Complex Scenarios
The electronic equipment of civil aircraft is centrally installed in the Electronic Equipment (EE) compartment, and providing a suitable EE compartment environment temperature is crucial to ensure the normal operation of electronic equipment. Analyzing and evaluating the environmental temperature of the EE compartment not only requires considering the thermal load of electronic devices, the air cooling performance of the aircraft, and the thermal properties of the aircraft structure, but also is related to various complex operating scenarios such as flight altitude, climate, air source, and air conditioning system status. This paper innovatively proposes a complex and multiple scenario EE bay environmental temperature simulation model based on the air flow and dynamic thermal balance, and verifies the accuracy of the model is compliant with the test result. The model was used to analyze the environmental temperature and electronic equipment adaptability of the EE bay of a certain civil aircraft, and through the analysis result the temperature is validated to comply with the requirement. This article provides a reliable analysis and verification method for the design of ventilation systems for electronic equipment in civil aircraft, which is of great significance for guiding the design and safe operation of civil aircraft.
