Design of Spectral Data Acquisition System Based on ARM+FPGA

As the demands for precision, sensitivity, and real-time performance in spectral analysis continue to increase in scientific research and industrial applications, the electronic system design of spectrometers has become a critical factor affecting their performance. This study addresses the requirements for high-precision spectral measurements in the UV-Vis range (200–1000 nm) by developing a versatile, modular electronic system for spectrometers. The system comprises control, data acquisition, and temperature control modules, all working synergistically to achieve efficient and stable data acquisition and processing. The control module adopts a hybrid ARM+FPGA architecture. The ARM microcontroller handles task scheduling, parameter configuration, and external communication, while the FPGA executes high-speed data acquisition and complex signal processing, balancing system flexibility with high performance. The system's modular design allows for independent upgrades or replacements of functional units, enhancing flexibility and maintainability. Optimized electronic and software designs enable the spectrometer system to achieve high sensitivity, high resolution, and wide dynamic range, with exceptional data acquisition capabilities and anti-interference performance.
