Energy Control Based Energy Dissipation Strategy for New Energy MMC-MTDC System with AC Fault at the Receiving End
In this paper, an MMC-MTDC surplus power dissipation strategy based on energy control is proposed. Firstly, the energy control capability of MMC-MTDC system is analyzed; secondly, corresponding energy control models are designed for different types of converter station poles; finally, the timing logic of energy control for each station pole is constructed, and relevant simulation experiments are carried out. The results show that the proposed strategy is able to realize the surplus power riding through ability under AC fault, and has better economy and applicable prospect.
