Data-driven reliability assessment and planning strategies for distribution networks

With the accelerated construction of new power systems, the reliability level of the distribution network, as a key link connecting the main grid and users, directly affects regional economic development and people's livelihood security. The current distribution network faces severe challenges under the trends of large-scale integration of renewable energy and diversified load patterns, necessitating systematic research to enhance the capability of power supply quality assurance. This study focuses on exploring aspects such as constructing a basic model, optimizing evaluation algorithms, and proposing strategies for planning improvements. In the construction of the basic model, a simulation system that reflects the actual operational characteristics of the power grid is established. In terms of optimizing evaluation methods, improved algorithms that balance computational efficiency and result accuracy are developed. At the level of planning improvement strategies, research directions such as the establishment of power supply reliability assessment indicators and the correlation analysis of influencing factors are proposed. A reliable technology roadmap that adapts to the development needs of new power systems is formed, providing a basis and reference for high-reliability distribution network planning, and helping to achieve the goal of coordinated development of power supply reliability and economy.
