System and Equipment Health Monitoring Design for Civil Aircraft Air Conditioning System
The air conditioning system of civil aircraft provides fresh air and source of cabin pressure to ensure the safety of aircraft personnel. Health management and monitoring design of the system is required to ensure the safety of aircraft operation. Air conditioning system generally has various types of sensors and actuators. To ensure the health management and monitoring of the system, it is necessary to use sensors to accurately sense the system status and equipment failure. The health monitoring for actuator is also needed. Based on the characteristics of the equipment, kinds of monitoring method are applicable for airborne systems. This paper introduces the health monitoring design of the airborne system based on the air conditioning system architecture.
