Study on Rapid Generation Method of DC Output Curve of New Energy base in Deserts Region

The large-scale new energy bases in the deserts region of 10 million kilowatts generally follow the mode of "wind power, pv, thermal power, and storage" bundled DC transmission, and the planning of DC transmission curves is often solved by the solver with multiple iterations, which is inefficient. In this paper, a fast generation method of DC output curve for deserts region new energy base is proposed. Firstly, based on the basic power of deserts region new energy base, the initial two-step curve is generated by considering the minimum demand of energy storage regulation. Secondly, the two-step curve is modified by combining the limitation of energy storage capacity and the overall output characteristics of the new energy base. Furthermore, the three-step curve is generated by combining the remaining power of thermal power generator units and the new energy power proportion in the transmission corridor. Further, combined with the remaining power of thermal power units and the proportion of new energy power in the transmission channel, a three-step DC transmission curve is generated. Finally, taking the wind power and photovoltaic output of a region in the west as the basic characteristics, and selecting the typical configurations of the deserts region, the feasibility and advancement of the proposed method are verified.
