Optimization of Handle Operating Force for Boarding Door Skeleton Model Based on CATIA
The handle operating force in lifting process of a civil aircraft boarding door is a crucial design factor during its opening and closing. It straightforwardly affects the safety of the boarding door and the operation for the flight attendants. By using the parametric sketch modeling method in CATIA software, the handle operating force and mechanism motion sequence during the lifting process of a typical civil aircraft door were analyzed. And the handle force at the close position, the start of the lift position, the maximum handle force position, and the highest lift position, as well as the fatigue strength of the torsion bar were considered. Based on this, the CATIA knowledge engineering module and the simulated annealing algorithm were used to optimize the design of the lifting mechanism and the lock shaft. The optimization aimed to minimize the handle force while meeting the requirements of the locking sequence. The effectiveness of the optimized design was verified using the ADAMS multi-body dynamics model.
