Research on frequency offset estimation algorithm based on non-uniform discrete pseudo-code pilot
For low-orbit satellite communications, there will be a large Doppler frequency offset between the transmitter and the receiver. Such Doppler frequency offset will affect communication efficiency. A method is proposed by adding nonuniform, discrete, pseudo-code pilots to the communication frame structure. Using its non-uniform characteristics, the Doppler frequency deviation estimation is completed to improve the communication efficiency. Through simulation analysis, the designed non-uniform pilot can achieve a lower packet error rate than the uniform pilot under a certain pilot occupancy rate, or at a lower pilot occupancy rate, it can achieve the same or better packet error rate than the uniform pilot. This provides a theoretical basis for the communication use of low-orbit satellites after large-scale deployment.
