Study on the Factors Affecting Handle Force of Type-A Boarding Door
This paper investigates the factors influencing the handle force of a Type-A civil aircraft door. Through mechanism theory, dynamic simulation, and tests using industrial robots, we conducted a comprehensive study to identify the key factors affecting handle force under actual working conditions. The primary factors identified include the adjustment of torsion bar, assembly of guide grooves, internal mechanism friction, door seal compression and status of pressurization-prevention mechanism. Based on these findings, we propose design optimization suggestions for the structure and mechanisms to mitigate excessive handle force, thereby enhancing the usability and safety of Type-A aircraft boarding door.
