Intelligent Optimization Strategies for Optimal Power Flow in Distributed Energy Resource-based Microgrids
This research critically analyzes microgrid systems in regard to their kinds, operating issues, and methods of optimization. It included grid-tied, islanded, as well as hybrid AC/DC microgrids, focusing on their separate control and integration specification needs. A power management problem diagnosis was carried out, categorizing them by the level of impact and priority areas needing improvement. The study focuses on the different energy management issues optimization techniques on decision-making, resource distribution, and system efficiency. The study examined the application of modern control strategies with strategically designed security systems, renewable energy technologies, and optimization approaches which will lead to greater autonomies, efficiency, and sustainability of microgrids systems. Thee findings demonstrate how some of the most pressing issues related to power control, microgrid optimization, and energy distribution have value and can be proposed to result in foundational changes for improved system resilience. This review illustrates the pervasiveness of intelligent algorithms in power flow optimization and demonstrates the acceptance of smart energy aids that will lead to sustainable and optimized microgrid systems.
