Quantitative Evaluation Method of Source-load Balance and its Impact on Power Supply Reliability in Distribution Systems

In the context of the dual-carbon goals, the integration of a high-proportion of renewable energy into the distribution grid has imposed diverse impacts on the reliability of power supply. This research focuses on the quantitative assessment of the source-load balance within distribution systems featuring a high penetration of distributed renewable energy. By leveraging the ordered clustering and entropy weight methods, this study comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of the source - load relationship and evaluates its influence on power supply reliability. The results indicate that the optimal allocation and a higher penetration level of distributed energy sources can effectively enhance power supply reliability and mitigate network losses. Through simulation, it is found that the installation of distributed renewable energy systems under two different connection modes has led to improvements in reliability by 2.82% and 4.12% respectively.
