System-Level Design Method and Implementation of DC Power Flow Control for Photovoltaic-Storage-Flexible Building Park Microgrid Clusters
Constructing PV-storage-flexible buildings plays a significant role in reducing building carbon emissions and achieving the "dual carbon goals." This effort relies heavily on the development of PV-storage-flexible DC microgrids. Effectively controlling power flow in DC microgrid lines has become an inevitable challenge. Based on existing DC power flow controller technology, this paper innovatively introduces a DC power flow controller into the PV-storage-flexible microgrid to optimize DC power flow control in such systems. The article begins with a detailed introduction to the topology of a PV-storage-flexible microgrid cluster in campus settings, followed by an explanation of the building-level microgrid topology. Subsequently, it designs an interline DC power flow controller for application in PV-storage-flexible microgrids, explains its operating logic, and specifies the designed PI control parameters. Finally, simulations of the PV-storage-flexible microgrid are conducted on the MATLAB/Simulink platform to verify the effectiveness of the proposed power flow controller for this application.
