Compliance Research on Electronic and Electrical System of Commercial Aircraft Auxiliary Fuel Tank System
typically a given fuel on board can support commercial aircraft flying a given range. The maximum flight range is designed and limited by the total fuel tank capacity of aircraft fuel tank configurations. While installation of auxiliary fuel tank system is an adequate and economic way to achieve more fuel carrying and can provide further flight range. Generally auxiliary fuel tank system is mechanically and electrically installed on the cargo cabin of commercial aircraft. This article target on electronic and electrical characteristics and interface of auxiliary fuel tank system and also methods of compliance to airworthiness standards (i.e., CCAR 25-R4 and 14 CFR Part 25) by using several analyses.
