Localization of Harmonic Source Based on Monte Carlo Sampling
With the increasing integration of distributed renewable energy and power electronic devices into power systems, harmonic pollution has become a significant concern, leading to reduced equipment efficiency and potential failures. Accurate localization of harmonic sources is crucial for mitigating this issue. Existing methods often rely on precise network parameters or impose restrictive assumptions, limiting their practical applicability. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a novel harmonic source localization method based on Monte Carlo sampling. The method constructs a probability distribution model for harmonic impedance errors and estimates the harmonic source location through Monte Carlo sampling. Simulations results demonstrate that the proposed method has higher accuracy and robustness to harmonic impedance error compared with existing methods.
