X-Band SAR 2.4 GHz Ultra-Wideband Signal Generation

An X-band ultra-wideband signal generation circuit for SAR is proposed, in which the IF signal of 1.2±0.15 GHz is extended to 9.6±1.2 GHz by three times frequency doubling, and the output signal amplitude fluctuation is less than 1.8 dB by employing an amplitude equalizer in the frequency doubling link.

Abstract

An X-band ultra-wideband signal generation circuit for SAR is proposed, in which the IF signal of 1.2±0.15 GHz is extended to 9.6±1.2 GHz by three times frequency doubling, and the output signal amplitude fluctuation is less than 1.8 dB by employing an amplitude equalizer in the frequency doubling link.
