Optimization Method of Maintenance Plan Integrated with Wind Turbine Condition Assessment

With the rapid growth of wind power installed scale, wind turbine maintenance faces multiple challenges such as high maintenance cost, large shutdown loss and insufficient adaptation to volatility. The traditional maintenance strategy relies on fixed period or post-fault response, which is difficult to dynamically evaluate the unit health status and power grid output fluctuation, and easily leads to the mismatch of maintenance resources and the decrease of power generation efficiency. In this paper, an optimization method of maintenance planning for wind turbines is proposed, which combines condition assessment and output constraint. Firstly, a multi-factor weighted evaluation model is constructed based on digital monitoring data to quantify component health status (such as gear box and variable pitch system), and a unit priority score is generated by combining expert weights. Secondly, by constructing a wind power - photovoltaic - energy storage - solar thermal collaborative operation model, the multi-energy output complementary characteristics and power balance constraints were analyzed, and a mixed integer programming framework with the goal of minimizing the total system cost was established, covering the climbing limits of solar thermal units, energy storage charging and discharging dynamics and wind power maintenance constraints. The dynamic maintenance decision mechanism is further designed, and the maintenance of high-scoring units is prioritized in the low-output period, and 0-1 variable is introduced to constrain the maintenance capacity and continuity. This method can reduce the downtime loss during high wind speed, realize the collaborative improvement of preventive maintenance and power generation efficiency, and is suitable for the maintenance decision support of multi-energy complementary power systems.
