Research on Calculation of Transverse Center of Gravity of Large Passenger Aircraft
Weight and balance of aircraft is one of the key factors to ensure flight safety and improve economic efficiency. The calculation of the transverse center of gravity is an important branch of weight and balance of aircraft, and it is also the important input to calculate the landing gear load, which affects the design of the aircraft structure. The design of calculation conditions is crucial to the calculation of the transverse center of gravity. In this paper, how to distribute the passenger load, cargo load and fuel load to transverse shift limit under reasonable circumstances is fully discussed. And by superimposing the effects of these three parts, a calculation method of the maximum transverse center of gravity is proposed, which provides reference and research for the weight and balance of aircraft, hoping to be enlightening and helpful to practitioners engaged in weight and balance.
