Simulation of 550kV/2000A Epoxy Resin Impregnated Paper Dry-type Bushing Inner Insulation Performance
This paper studies the inner insulation design of 550kV/2000A epoxy resin impregnated paper dry-type bushings, which is crucial for the safe operation of power systems. Finite element simulation analysis method was employed to calculate and analyze the electric field strength distribution of the bushing under different voltage conditions. The results indicate that the electric field strength distribution between the capacitive screens of the bushing is uniform, and there are differences in electric field strength in different directions. Under phase voltage, the maximum radial field strength is 3.47kV/mm, and the maximum axial field strength is 0.4kV/mm. Under power frequency voltage, the maximum normal field strength on the surface of the bushing core is 2.71kV/mm, and the maximum tangential field strength is 1.25kV/mm. Under lightning voltage, the maximum field strength on the core surface reaches 12.84kV/mm, and the maximum tangential field strength is 2.46kV/mm, which comply with the usage specifications. This study provides a scientific basis for the inner insulation design of epoxy resin impregnated paper dry-type bushings.
