Simulation on the Epoxy Resin Impregnated Paper Bushings Performance of Different Voltage Levels
Epoxy resin impregnated paper bushings, as key components in power systems, are subjected to multiple physical fields such as electricity, heat, and force over the long term. Their performance stability is crucial for the safe operation of transformers. This paper introduces the structure of new types of epoxy resin impregnated paper bushings with rated voltages of 36kV and 72.5kV. The paper simulates the electric field distribution of different bushings under operating conditions using the finite element simulation method and calculates their seismic resistance. The simulation results show that the working electric field strength varies according to the different structural characteristics of the products. With the increase of the rated voltage, the maximum field strength on the core surface increases from 2.11kV/mm to 2.18kV/mm. Both types of bushings can withstand an earthquake intensity of 8 degrees. The performance of the two types of transformer bushings introduced in this paper meets the requirements for normal use.
