Development of remote welding monitoring system based on 5G network

Electric arc signal in welding process is closely related to welding quality. In order to realize remote monitoring of welding quality, this paper proposes a monitoring system with STM32 as the core and 5G wireless communication technology for real-time transmission of electric arc signal in welding. The system has the characteristics of high integration and high transmission rate. Monitoring personnel can query welding real-time data and quality analysis results anytime and anywhere. The hardware and software design of the monitoring system is completed, and the real-time data compression algorithm is designed for the wireless transmission of welding signals. The experimental results show that the system is stable and reliable, and can satisfy the remote monitoring of welding quality.
