Research on a Gain Scheduler of Flight Control System to Satisfy Aircraft Handling Qualities Assessment

In this paper, the Control Anticipation Parameter(CAP) and criterion is applied to assess the aircraft handling qualities of the aircraft for category B and C flight phases, which is augmented by Rate Command Attitude Hold (RCAH) gain scheduler. The main contribution of this research is the combination of the gain scheduler technique and handling qualities assessment. In accordance of Control Anticipation Parameter(CAP) and C* criteria assessment, the aircraft handling qualities augmented with Rate Command Attitude Hold (RCAH) gain scheduler performs satisfactorily and considerably improved.
