Research on the Simplified Model and Operating Mechanism of the Typical Motion Mechanism of Civil Aircraft Boarding Doors

The aircraft boarding door is a critical component related to flight safety. Strict airworthiness standards impose multiple functional requirements on boarding doors, resulting in complex door mechanisms. Traditional methods for analyzing the mechanism's motion principles are cumbersome. This paper simplifies the boarding door mechanism and extracts key links for in-depth analysis. By utilizing the closed vector method to establish the motion model and solving it through an iterative method, the trajectories of key links were obtained. A two-dimensional model was built in Adams simulation software to verify the accuracy of the method. By comparing the simulation results with analytical calculations, the effectiveness of the proposed method was validated. The developed MATLAB program accurately captures the rotational relationship between the links and the inner handle, avoiding the complexity of three-dimensional modeling and significantly improving research efficiency. This provides robust program support and theoretical basis for the study of the boarding door mechanism's motion laws and subsequent optimization.
