A Simulation Method for the Entire Circuit Breaker Breaking Process Based on Multi-physics Coupling
A study proposes a multi-physics coupling model integrating arc, circuit, and mechanical interactions for high-voltage circuit breakers. Using a four-level collaborative simulation framework, it analyzes dynamic interplays during breaking processes, combining arc nonlinearity, mechanical dynamics, and electromagnetic energy. Distributed computing enables real-time data exchange, revealing that cold airflow energy conversion and arc energy dissipation critically impact breaker performance. Results support advanced design strategies to enhance power system stability.
