Analysis of Capacity Configuration of Grid-forming Units Considering Active Power Frequency Response Based on Grey Relational Degree Method
Grid-forming control can actively provide frequency support to weak power grids. In view of the fact that existing research has not considered the quantitative relationship between frequency support requirements and the capacity configuration ratio of grid-forming units, this paper proposes an optimization method for the capacity configuration of grid-forming units based on frequency response characteristics and using grey relational degree as the weight. Firstly, this paper analyzes the three-stage active power frequency response characteristics. Secondly, based on the frequency response characteristics, an evaluation index for the optimal configuration of grid-forming units is established, and a method for optimizing the capacity configuration of grid-forming units with the grey relational degree analysis method and the relational degree as the weight is proposed. Finally, through case analysis and simulation experiments, it is verified that the proposed configuration method has certain advantages in improving the frequency support effect of the system.
