Research on Modular Separation Surface Design of Large Aircraft Based on Key Feature Decomposition
The key assembly features serve as the foundation for aircraft assembly, which must meet the design requirements. Large commercial aircraft analyze key features to define key process parameters, monitor the manufacturing process and capabilities of individual components to obtain data, and improve aircraft assembly accuracy and reduce assembly costs. This paper builds an interface control model to represent the form of the separation surfaces and clarify the assembly tolerance requirements. The proposed model is based on the tolerance requirements for modular separation surface assembly of large commercial aircraft. The research outputs of this paper have significant guidance for domestic commercial aircraft modular separation surface design.
