Design and implementation of medium wave infrared radiation heating system for pipeline joint coating
In response to the current need for rapid and uniform heating and installation of heat-shrinkable tapes in pipeline joint construction, a pipeline joint heating system based on a medium-wave infrared radiator is designed, which adopts a heating zoning scheme of three zones in the axial direction and four zones in the circumferential direction of the pipeline, and the heating output power of all zones can be continuously adjusted. Compared with traditional long-wave infrared radiation heating equipment, it has the advantages of high heating efficiency and uniform heating temperature distribution. Field tests show that the system has short heating time and high quality, which meets the needs of practical engineering applications, and has high promotion value.
