Particle Swarm Optimization in the Application of Civil Aircraft Flight Control System Monitor Design
Redundant sensors typically involve the steps of validity determination and voting among redundant signals. However, in the process of voting among redundant signals, a voting threshold needs to be defined. Due to variable factors such as installation position, geographical location, and terrain, redundant sensors may experience signal differences exceeding the voting threshold, affecting the aircraft's flight performance or potentially increasing maintenance costs. Addressing the issue of selecting appropriate monitoring thresholds based on different conditions, a method is proposed to utilize the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to obtain the optimal threshold in special cases. The results show that, compared with traditional civil aircraft flight control system monitors, the monitor using the PSO algorithm can enhance the robustness of the monitor under specific conditions, demonstrating promising application prospects.
