Locational Marginal Pricing considering Carbon Cost Transmission under Contingencies in Coordinated Electricity and Carbon Markets

The goal of low-carbon development has had a significant impact on the power industry and it needs to be closely linked with the carbon market. This linkage will inevitably promote the deep integration of the electricity market and the carbon market. With enhancing resilience and security, taking into account the orderly connection of trading time scales, the market pricing and collaborative trading of electricity energy and carbon quotas are jointly optimized. This paper proposes a market linkage mechanism based on the collaborative decomposition of medium and long-term contract volume for carbon electricity, and a nodal pricing method considering carbon cost transmission. Firstly, a collaborative decomposition method is proposed for the electricity and carbon contract, constructing the connection between the medium and long-term market and the spot market, which provides trading methods and settlement rules for the contract volume and deviation volume of electricity and carbon. Based on the current carbon market mechanism, a pricing method that transmits from the carbon market to the electricity market is proposed in the context of the decomposed spot market. On the basis of improving the resilience of the electricity market, further research is conducted on the calculation of locational marginal prices taking into account carbon components under contingencies, and the transmission price of carbon cost for purchasing resilience is derived. This achieves the synergistic coupling of the resilience improvement price calculation principle and pricing method in the spot background of the electricity and carbon market. The model has been validated for effectiveness in a 30-bus system, resulting in a low-carbon oriented and safe and stable electricity carbon collaborative pricing result.
