CLOUD-BASED TECHNOLOGIES IN MUSIC EDUCATION: PROSPECTS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR INNOVATION

Introduction. Cloud technologies, as a key innovation of the last decade, have transformed education by creating flexible learning spaces. They enable collaboration and resource sharing between participants in the educational process, regardless of their location. Purpose. The aim of the study is to analyse the prospects and possibilities of using cloud-based technologies in music education. Methods. The research methodology is based on the integrated use of scientific approaches, including systemic, competence and comprehensive analysis. This allows for a comprehensive analysis of pedagogical literature, including the study of monographic scientific publications and dissertations. Results. Music education, as an integral part of the cultural and educational landscape, requires adaptation to dynamic global processes. This implies the need to update curricula, integrate progressive methods, and make widespread use of modern technologies, namely information and communication technologies. The results of the author’s survey demonstrate a positive attitude of music teachers to the use of cloud-based technologies in the educational process. The majority of respondents (84.7%) consider them effective, and 74% rate their own level of proficiency in these technologies as high. Teachers consider the main advantages of cloud services to be the acquisition of digital competences by students, interactivity, accessibility and personalisation of learning. This demonstrates that teachers are aware of the importance of integrating modern technologies into music education to improve its effectiveness and develop competitive specialists. Despite the generally positive assessment, a small proportion of respondents (15.3%) expressed doubts about the effectiveness of cloud services, which requires further research into the reasons for this attitude. In addition, 26% of respondents need further training in the use of cloud technologies. Originality. The scientific novelty of the article lies in a comprehensive analysis of the potential of cloud technologies for the transformation of music education, in particular, in identifying opportunities for personalisation of learning, development of creative abilities. Conclusions. The study confirms that cloud-based technologies offer significant prospects for innovation in music education. The results of the survey of music teachers indicate a high assessment of the effectiveness of cloud services in the educational process and a sufficient level of their knowledge of these technologies. Prospects for further research are to study the impact of cloud-based technologies on the development of soft skills of music education students.
