THE CONSENSUS IN BRICS: AI AS A TOOL FOR REACHING AN AGREEMENT ON A SINGLE UNIT OF ACCOUNT AND COLLATERAL SECURITY
The article explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for achieving consensus among BRICS countries on the implementation of a unified settlement unit and the formation of collateral mechanisms. The authors analyze the economic and political heterogeneity of the member states, as well as the role of AI technologies in overcoming disagreements through optimization of settlement parameters, predictive analytics, and scenario modeling. Special attention is paid to the use of blockchain for transaction transparency, machine learning-based dynamic currency baskets, and neural network algorithms for balancing macroeconomic interests. The study also addresses technological and regulatory challenges, including cybersecurity, data sovereignty, and the need for harmonization of legal frameworks. The results demonstrate that AI can reduce transaction costs and currency risks, but its effectiveness depends on the political will of the participating countries and the development of digital infrastructure.
