TRANSFORMAÇÃO DIGITAL E GESTÃO DE PESSOAS: COMO ENFRENTAR OS NOVOS DESAFIOS ORGANIZACIONAIS

ABSTRACT This article aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities that digital transformation imposes on people management in contemporary organizations. Based on a literature review, the research addresses the changes brought about by digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, remote work, and collaborative platforms in the context of Human Resources practices. The adopted methodology is qualitative and exploratory, based on classical and current authors in the field, in order to identify the impacts of these innovations on leadership, development, and employee engagement processes. The results indicate that, despite obstacles such as resistance to change and the need for new skills, digitalization offers strategic opportunities to make people management more efficient, personalized, and aligned with organizational goals. It is concluded that HR’s role must be rethought in light of the digital age, taking on a more analytical, proactive, and human-centered approach. This study contributes by providing a relevant theoretical reflection for both academia and professionals working with people management in contexts of constant transformation. Keywords: Digital transformation. People management. Human resources. Innovation.
