Enhancing Journalism and Communication Education Through Virtual Simulation Technology

This study examines the role of virtual simulation technology in enhancing journalism and communication education. Traditional teaching methods often face limitations in resources, which impede the development of students' practical skills and creativity. Through a case study, the research evaluates the impact of virtual simulation on curriculum design, student performance, and resource efficiency, using metrics such as academic achievement, engagement, and satisfaction. The findings indicate that virtual simulation significantly improves practical competencies, fosters greater student participation, and optimizes teaching resources. However, challenges like high implementation costs and the need for teacher adaptability persist. The paper offers recommendations for refining virtual simulation models, providing valuable insights for advancing journalism education.
