Assessing the Advantages of Green Power Trading in Renewable Energy Plants
As global concerns over climate change and sustainable development grow, renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and hydroelectric power are becoming key pathways for transforming electricity systems. Researchers worldwide are exploring innovative market mechanisms to integrate renewable energy effectively and maximize its benefits. However, the current evaluation system for green power projects is limited, focusing mainly on economic returns and lacking a comprehensive assessment approach. To address this, a comprehensive benefit evaluation system has been proposed, which includes an analysis model covering economic, environmental, and social benefits, emphasizing the role of social and environmental factors in decision-making. A new evaluation index system and fuzzy analysis method provide quantitative tools for assessing green power trading projects. Case studies show that this approach outperforms others on most indicators, confirming its effectiveness. The study concludes that green power projects offer significant comprehensive benefits and provides recommendations for the healthy development of the green power trading market, crucial for advancing renewable energy adoption and global green development.
