Research on Thermomagnetic Convection for Enhancing Heat Transfer Based on LBM Method
This article uses the LBM method to analyze and study forced flow thermal-magnetic convection under the action of an ideal magnetic field. The magnetic field can exert a force similar to gravity on non-conducting fluids, affecting fluid flow and changing the distribution of the flow field. By applying both co- and counter-magnetic forces to the fluid under the action of an ideal magnetic field, it was found that the smaller the flow velocity, the more significant the influence of the magnetic field on the convective heat transfer. Due to the presence of the magnetic field, the heat transfer between the fluid and the wall surface is enhanced. It was found that applying counter-magnetic forces to the fluid can significantly enhance the heat transfer between the fluid and the wall surface, while applying counter-magnetic forces to the flow channel axis can weaken the heat transfer between the fluid and the wall surface.
