The Review of Ice Suppression Method for Extra High Voltage Transmission Line
Extreme weather is one of the most serious threats to the safe operation of transmission lines in winter, and efficient and reliable anti-icing and de-icing of transmission lines have become the focus of urgent solution. First of all, the various methods to suppress the transmission line icing problem and the application status of various methods are reviewed. Then, the load melting method based on phase shifting transformer and its engineering application are discussed. Next, the mechanism characteristics of power flow regulation and ice suppression of phase shift transformer in single circuit, parallel line and ring network are modeled. Finally, the future development direction of this technology is proposed.
