Acoso ambiental en el trabajo, satisfacción con el ambiente laboral y la intención de abandonar la organización: Estudio de un modelo de mediación en una muestra femenina de empleadas de oficina
This research comes within the framework of the work environmental psychology and proposes to test the mediating role of environmental satisfaction at work between environmental harassment at work and the intention to leave the organization. A sample of 134 French female employees, with an average age of 40 years old, completed a three parts questionnaire: an environmental satisfaction at work scale, a harassment at work scale and an intention to leave the organization scale. The mediation analysis confirms this hypothesis of a partial mediating effect (indirect effect = 0.12, [0.02, 0.23]) of environmental satisfaction at work on the relationship between environmental harassment at work and the intention to leave the organization. The results therefore demonstrate that environmental harassment at work has a direct impact on the intention to leave the company, but also an indirect effect on it through satisfaction with the work environment. These results are discussed and prospects for future research and managerial recommendations are proposed.
