Health and stress resistance of youth in the context of national security
The aim of the study was to examine the effectiveness of several new approaches to developing stress resistance and improving physical health levels among university and college students. Results: The research data indicate that during the initial assessment stage, the majority of students showed high and moderate levels of stress sensitivity, average or below-average health indicators of the central nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory and immune systems, as well as low or below-average development of safe behavior skills (based on test results during preparation for field training exercises). Conclusion: the use of the developed algorithm for the combined use of a set of physical exercises, psychological training and a program for conducting field training sessions contributed to a reliable improvement in most of the studied indicators associated with the ability to effectively act and survive in emergency situations.
