Accounting for accentuation types when developing students’ endurance
The research is aimed at identifying different types of accents and their impact on motivation, perception of physical activity and adaptation to the training process. The article examines the features of the development of physical endurance ability, which requires strong-willed efforts, and the classification of types of accents that explain the individual characteristics of people's behavior and reactions. During the experiment, psychodiagnostics of 23 1st-year students of USPU were conducted to determine the types of personality accentuation (according to K. Leonhard) and to identify the best methods for developing their endurance. Based on the data obtained, it was determined that the majority of students have a vindictive (stuck) character type, optimistic temperament and introverted mindset. Therefore, for example, for such students, it is important to choose a technique that minimizes sudden emotional states in the process of developing endurance, which can be achieved if the purpose and objectives of the task they have to perform are correctly and clearly conveyed.
