Bi-Hamiltonian structure and conservation laws of the coupled Boussinesq hierarchy

Starting from a 4 × 4 matrix spectral problem with four potentials, the corresponding coupled Boussinesq (cBq) hierarchy is successfully proposed. For ensuring the integrability of the hierarchy, both the bi-Hamiltonian structure and infinitely many conservation laws are mainly discuss. The bi-Hamiltonian structure of the hierarchy is constructed by virtue of the celebrated trace identity. The infinitely many conservation laws of the hierarchy are obtained by a direct way.

Abstract

Starting from a 4 × 4 matrix spectral problem with four potentials, the corresponding coupled Boussinesq (cBq) hierarchy is successfully proposed. For ensuring the integrability of the hierarchy, both the bi-Hamiltonian structure and infinitely many conservation laws are mainly discuss. The bi-Hamiltonian structure of the hierarchy is constructed by virtue of the celebrated trace identity. The infinitely many conservation laws of the hierarchy are obtained by a direct way.
