PERUBAHAN SOSIAL BUDAYA MASYARAKAT SUKU BAJO PASCA PEMBANGUNAN JALAN TOL KENDARI TORONIPA KECAMATAN SOROPIA, KABUPATEN KONAWE

Abstract: The construction of the Kendari-Toronipa Toll Road which passes through Leppe Village, Soropia District, Konawe Regency and the environment affects the social life of the community. The presence of the construction of the Toll Road has caused socio-cultural changes in the community. This study aims to: (1) describe the socio- cultural changes that have occurred in the Bajo tribe community in Leppe Village. (2) to determine and analyze the impact of socio-cultural changes that have occurred in the Bajo tribe community in Leppe Village. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques, with sampling techniques snowball (Snowball) as the determination of informants and the last step is Data Analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Socio-cultural changes that occurred in and the Bajo tribe community after the construction of the Kendari-Toronipa Toll Road: (a) Changes in livelihoods, (b) Changes in housing conditions, (c) Changes in lifestyle; (2) The impact of socio- cultural changes after the construction of the Kendari-Toronipa Toll Road, (a) Positive impacts, Increased community income, The emergence of new jobs in the tourism sector, (b) Negative impacts, Environmental pollution occurs.
