A Study of the Grammatical Functions and Semantics of the Uyghur Auxiliary Verb “tur-”

维吾尔语体助动词“tur-”是一个使用频率较高的词汇。在语法功能方面，“tur-”可作体助动词，既能够与“p型副动词”搭配表示重复体，展现动作的持续或重复进行，又能强调动作的持续性以表示持续体。同时，“tur-”还辅助构成其他语法形式，在维吾尔语语法体系中发挥着重要作用。从语义角度看，“tur-”原义为“站、住”，随着语言的发展逐渐产生引申义及虚化义，可表示存在的状态、强调事物的某种属性或特征等。通过对“tur-”的多方面研究，有助于更深入地理解维吾尔语的语法结构和语义表达，为维吾尔语的学习、教学及跨语言交流提供有益参考。The Uyghur stylistic auxiliary verb “tur-” is a frequently used word. In terms of grammatical function, “tur-” can be used as an aspectual auxiliary verb, which can not only be collocated with “p type adverb” to express the repetition aspect, showing the continuity or repetition of the action, but also emphasize the continuity of the action to express the continuous aspect. At the same time, “tur-” also forms other grammatical forms and plays an important role in the Uyghur grammar system. From the semantic point of view, the original meaning of “tur-” is “standing, living”, and with the development of language, it gradually produces extended meaning and virtual meaning, which can express the state of existence and emphasize certain attributes or characteristics of things. Through the study of “tur-” in many aspects, it is helpful to understand the grammatical structure and semantic expression of Uyghur, and provide a useful reference for Uyghur learning, teaching and cross-language communication.
