Method for synchronizing data write requests in federated cloud systems
A method for data synchronization in geo-distributed federated cloud systems (FCSs) that do not use cloud service providers tools to manage shared data is proposed in the article. In the developed method, synchronization of data write requests from users contrary to models that use replicas consensus, is ensured by forming fully ordered numbers of incoming packets within a fixed apriori defined period equal for all replicas. The procedure for general ordering of incoming packets from the VIP-Grab protocol, the use of which for synchronization will allow resolving potential order conflicts, preventing multiple writing of incoming data in replicas, and reducing the latency of FCS writing is improves in the paper.
