FACTORS INFLUENCE ON THE STATE OF FOOD SECURITY
In countries affected by conflict, extreme weather events, economic downturns or high levels of inequality, the problem of hunger is felt more acutely and the trend towards its worsening is more pronounced. A combination of factors such as armed conflicts, extreme climate events, economic crises and high levels of social inequality exacerbate the problem of hunger. These challenges create a vicious cycle of poverty and lack of access to resources, exacerbating the risk for vulnerable populations.
