Asymptotic analysis to a Bresse system with nonlinear distributed damping

This paper deals with the energy decay rates of solutions to a Bresse system with nonlinear distributed damping acting on the longitudinal and shear angle displacements.Among other results, it is shown that the energy E(t) associated with the system satisfies the equation limt+ E(t) = 0.The paper concludes with numerical experiments that illustrate the theoretical results obtained.

Abstract

This paper deals with the energy decay rates of solutions to a Bresse system with nonlinear distributed damping acting on the longitudinal and shear angle displacements.Among other results, it is shown that the energy E(t) associated with the system satisfies the equation limt+ E(t) = 0.The paper concludes with numerical experiments that illustrate the theoretical results obtained.
