Argumentative Function of Evaluative Statements (on the Material of the Internet Text)

The article describes such a feature of evaluative statements as their realization of the argumentativefunction. This function is considered to be dominant in Internet texts of "superficially non-advertising" character. The material for the study was descriptions of communities, posts and comments of the social network "Vkontakte", in which the average user does not expect to see texts of advertising (manipulative) nature. This article analyses 1200 of such texts for the presence of evaluative statements implementing the argumentative function. This article demonstrates the mechanism of the evaluative methodof argumentation from the addressee's point of view, as determined on the basis of the text analysis in its contextual environment and with a complex analysis of the communicative situation. On the basis of this mechanism, the article proposes an algorithm for finding evaluative statements that implement the argumentative function, contributing to the development of artificial intelligence and P-technologies. This algorithm is also considered as a means of ensuring the linguoecology of the Internet space.
