International Relations In Europe in the 1930s — Early 1940s in the Correspondence of Russian Scientists — Emigrants of the First Wave
The article analyzes the correspondence of a number of representatives of the Russian emigration of the first wave of the 1920s — early 1940s, philologist and historian V. A. Frantsev, legal scholar and historian E. V. Spektorsky, lawyer A. A. Vilkov, clergyman S. A. Shimkevich. The letters are kept in the E.V. Spektorsky collection in the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia in Ljubljana and in the V. A. Frantsev collection in the Slavic Library in Prague. The important role of the letters of scientists as a source for the history of international relations in the interwar period and the first years of World War II is shown.
